The statistics related to nursing home abuse intensifies the fears that it has become a widespread national concern. Reports clearly reveal that at least 30% of the nursing home facilities are known to been the site of abuse incidents. Another shocking fact is that most of the abuse instances in nursing homes go un-reported. The need of the hour is to drastically and immediately check the incidents of nursing home abuse and related medical malpractices on older population.
